“Let’s Make Some MAgic”

Our Game

Dungeons Under Gannar

This is a roguelike roleplaying game based off of Castle Of The Winds. Since I’m using the term roguelike, I figure that quantifying how much like Rogue it’s going to be will also help describe the game.

Random Dungeon Generation: Of course.

Permadeath: Not really.

Non-Modal (Able To Do Any Action At Any Time): Yes.

Inter-Connected Systems: I don’t know if this game will get complex enough to apply, but yes.

Resource Management: Not really. If stamina and magic management count, though, then sure.

Hack&Slash Focus Without Peaceful Options: Mostly.

Identities Unclear Until Identification Process: Sure, why not.

Controlling Only 1 Character Each Run: Sure, why not.

Tactical Challenge: That’s likely going to happen by itself.

Presents Status Of Player And Game Through On-Screen Numbers: Sure, why not.

Exploring Dungeons: Of course.

Max Bialystock

Max Bialystock

Owner and Founder

Max is the “man with the plan” for the game and owner/founder of Lendrigan Games. As such, he’s doing the initial art assets for the game, overseeing marketing for it, and attempting to communicate game mechanics to Roger De Bris (he’s quite new at it).

Roger De Bris

Roger De Bris

Collaborator

A collaborator for the game (the exact bounds of his relationship with Lendrigan Games will develop as the game does), Roger is doing the coding for the game.

Leo Bloom

Leo Bloom

Artist

Currently, all of the art is placeholder, as well as is the art style itself.  Leo Bloom will eventually be providing, for the demo, assets more representative of the final product, and then the assets for the final product when such bridge is eventually reached.

Currently only in a proof-of-concept state, Dungeons Under Gannar is a roguelike that’s heavily inspired by Castle Of The Winds, an early ’90s roguelike for Windows 3.1
